Journeys and Tips
Annecy lives at two paces: that of the lake and the old town, best discovered slowly, and that of Geneva, three quarters of an hour away, where many arrivals and business meetings take place. Our chauffeurs bridge the two.
Geneva airport is about 45 minutes away, Annecy Mont-Blanc airport about ten minutes away for business aviation, and Annecy station has TGV services from Paris.
Megève and Chamonix in about an hour, Aix-les-Bains in 35 minutes, Lyon in 1h30, Courchevel in 1h45 to 2h. The loop around the lake via Talloires takes an hour without stops.
In July and August, the lakeside roads are congested in the late afternoon: we plan journeys accordingly. The old town is pedestrianised, so we drop you as close as possible.
The International Animation Film Festival in June and the Fête du Lac in early August fill the town: book chauffeur and vehicle several weeks ahead.
