Flying to Tokyo
Europe to Japan,
in a single flight.
Tokyo is one of the most distant destinations we arrange from Europe. From Paris, allow about 13 to 14 hours in the air depending on available air routes: an ultra-long-range jet can cover this non-stop, in a cabin designed for sleeping.
We prepare landing permits and slots in advance, as they are often limited for business aviation in Tokyo, and coordinate your arrival through to your hotel.
The Airports
Haneda (HND), around thirty minutes from the centre, is the most convenient, but its business aviation slots are scarce and booked early. Narita (NRT), about an hour and a half from the centre, has a dedicated terminal and more availability.
Indicative Flight Times
Dubai 9h30, Paris and Geneva 13 to 14h, London about 14h. Times are indicative and depend on the aircraft, the winds and the airspace open to the flight.
The Right Aircraft
Only ultra-long-range jets, such as the Global 7500 or Gulfstream G650ER, link Europe and Japan non-stop. With a standard long-range jet, a technical stop of about an hour allows for refuelling.
On Arrival
Immigration and customs formalities are handled at the business aviation terminal. Depending on your nationality, a short stay may be visa-exempt; we check the rules that apply to each passenger before departure.
Frequently Asked Questions
What to know
before you book.
Yes, with an ultra-long-range jet, in about 13 to 14 hours depending on the air routes. With an aircraft of shorter range, a technical stop of about an hour is needed.
Haneda is closest to central Tokyo, but its business aviation slots are limited and booked early. Narita, further out, offers more availability. We propose the best option for your dates.
Ideally two to three weeks, to secure landing permits and slots comfortably. Shorter lead times remain possible depending on availability.
Spring, during the cherry blossom in late March and early April, and autumn, in November, are the most sought-after periods. They are also the busiest: it is best to secure hotels and slots early.
Yes. The long-range jets we offer have seats that convert into beds and, on the largest, a separate bedroom. An additional crew is planned when the flight time requires it.
