Journeys and Tips
In Saint-Tropez, the challenge is not distance but access: a single main road leads to the peninsula, and it is saturated all summer. Our chauffeurs know the times to avoid, the routes via Gassin and Ramatuelle and the drop-off points at the port and the beaches.
La Môle airport is around fifteen minutes from the port for light aircraft, Toulon-Hyères about an hour away and Nice 1h30 to 1h45. The peninsula's heliports link to Nice in around twenty minutes.
Pampelonne in 15 minutes, Ramatuelle and Gassin in 15 to 20 minutes, Sainte-Maxime in 20 minutes out of season, Cannes in 1h15 to 1h30.
In July and August, the La Foux roundabout can cost more than an hour at peak times. We time journeys accordingly and suggest the sea shuttle or a boat when it is quicker.
The Bravade in mid-May, high season from June to September and Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez in late September and early October. Book several weeks ahead for July and August.
