Saint-Tropez

The legend of the peninsula, between beaches and hilltop villages.

Why Saint-Tropez

Discover Saint-Tropez
with Noctis.

Saint-Tropez lives to the rhythm of its summers: Place des Lices and its games of pétanque, the Vieux Port lined bow-to-quay with yachts, Pampelonne and its beach clubs. Out of season, it's an authentic Provençal village, far quieter.

Our presence on the peninsula goes back years. We know the best berths in the harbour, the villas in the Parcs de Saint-Tropez or Ramatuelle, and the right contacts for quick access to the most sought-after beach clubs.

Practical Guide

Saint-Tropez,
the essentials.

The peninsula has to be earned: a single main road leads to it, and it is saturated from the end of June. A successful stay in Saint-Tropez starts with choosing the right way to arrive, the right area to stay in and the right time to travel.

Here is what we advise our clients, season after season.

Getting There

From Nice airport, allow 1h30 by road outside peak traffic, often more in July and August; the helicopter links Nice to the gulf in around twenty minutes. La Môle airport, around fifteen minutes from the port, welcomes light aircraft. We handle the transfer from Nice airport.

Avoiding the Traffic

In high season, the road along the gulf from the La Foux roundabout carries most of the traffic. We plan journeys for off-peak hours, offer the sea shuttle from Sainte-Maxime or a transfer by boat, and position your vehicle in advance wherever you will need it.

Where to Stay

The village and the port to do everything on foot; the Parcs de Saint-Tropez for privacy a few minutes from the centre; Ramatuelle and the beach road for Pampelonne; Gassin and Grimaud for large, quiet estates. We deliver cars and chauffeurs to each of these areas.

The Calendar

The season opens with the Bravade in mid-May, peaks in July and August, then carries on with Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez in late September and early October. June and September offer the best balance of weather, availability and calm. The Place des Lices market is held on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to know
before you book.

June and September are the months we recommend most: the sea is warm, the beach clubs are open and traffic flows freely. July and August bring the buzz, but also the highest prices and the heaviest traffic. The season closes with Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, in late September and early October.

Nice Côte d'Azur airport handles all flights, commercial and private, about 1h30 by road or around twenty minutes by helicopter. For a light aircraft, La Môle airport, around fifteen minutes from the port, saves valuable time. We arrange the transfer from either.

In July and August, reaching the peninsula via the La Foux roundabout can take over an hour at peak times. We schedule journeys for off-peak hours, offer the sea shuttle from Sainte-Maxime or a private boat transfer, with a chauffeur who knows the alternative routes.

Yes. We deliver and collect vehicles at your villa, hotel, the port or the airport, whether you are staying in the village, the Parcs de Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle, Gassin or Grimaud. Delivery is priced in your quote.

For July and August, we advise booking villa, yacht and vehicles several weeks ahead, and several months ahead for the dates of major events. In June and September, a few days are usually enough. We also consider last-minute requests depending on availability.
