A Regatta Turned Institution
Les Voiles runs for a week in late September and early October. The port of Saint-Tropez welcomes century-old classic vessels alongside contemporary maxi-yachts. It's the finest time of year in the gulf: the summer crowds have gone, the light is superb, and the water is still warm.
Watching from the Sea
The best vantage point isn't the quay but the water. We charter vessels positioned along the race line, with crew and catering on board. Demand is strong: bookings are made as early as spring.
Where to Stay and Getting Around
Villas in Ramatuelle and the Parcs de Saint-Tropez remain available later in the season than in August, but the best ones go quickly. From La Môle airport, fifteen minutes by car is enough to reach the port.
Continuing on to Italy
Many continue on to Portofino, an overnight sail away. It's a natural transition, and one of the finest in the western Mediterranean.
Our concierges' advice. Book the vessel in spring. For the villa, allow three months. For the car, six weeks is generally enough at this time of year.
Planning your stay
We cover every service around this event: vehicle with or without chauffeur, private jet, villa or chalet, yacht. A single point of contact coordinates it all.
