Two Dates a Year
Women's Fashion Week runs late February to early March for the autumn-winter collections, and late September to early October for spring-summer. Add to that Haute Couture in January and July, plus the menswear weeks. In practice, Paris is in Fashion Week mode for a good part of the year.
It's Not About the Distance
The shows are held at the Grand Palais Éphémère, the Palais de Tokyo, and private mansions in the Marais or the 7th arrondissement. The distances are short, but the time slots are tight. A chauffeur waiting nearby, who repositions the vehicle during the show, changes everything.
Choosing the Vehicle
A discreet saloon is preferable to a sports car: you'll be dropped off at guarded entrances, sometimes photographed. Our clients overwhelmingly favour the S-Class and the 7 Series, in black.
Extending the Stay
Many go on to Milan or London. The jet link from Le Bourget takes an hour to Milan, an hour and fifteen minutes to London, and offers direct access without going through commercial airports.
