Flying to Mykonos

In July and August, commercial flights to Mykonos are full and the island's small airport runs at capacity. A private flight from Nice, Paris or Geneva lets you arrive on the day and at the time you choose, directly on the island.
We take into account the constraints specific to Mykonos, from limited aircraft parking to the meltemi, the strong northerly wind that blows in summer.
The Airport
Mykonos airport (JMK) is a few minutes from Chora and accepts most business jets. In high season, aircraft parking is limited: the aircraft often repositions elsewhere while waiting for your return.

The Meltemi
This northerly wind blows regularly in July and August and can complicate landings for the smallest aircraft. We then choose a suitable jet and keep a fallback via Athens, followed by a short flight or a helicopter.

Well ahead. Between late June and early September, slots and parking at Mykonos airport are limited: several weeks in advance is advisable, more for July and August weekends.
Most business jets can land there. Depending on the size of the aircraft, the wind and parking availability, we offer the safest option, including a landing in Athens followed by a short flight or a helicopter.
Greece, France and Switzerland are all in the Schengen area: for EU and Swiss nationals, a valid identity document is enough. From the United Kingdom or outside Schengen, passport control takes place on arrival.
In high season, parking at Mykonos is often limited to a few hours. The aircraft then flies out empty and returns to collect you, or we arrange a separate return flight if that is better value.
