A City Transformed into a Circuit
The Grand Prix is held in early June, but the setup begins several weeks beforehand and the teardown continues well after. During race weekend, much of Monaco is physically inaccessible by car: the circuit runs through the streets of the centre, from the Casino to Port Hercule.
The Helicopter Solution
The Nice–Monaco helicopter link takes seven minutes, regardless of traffic on the coastal road. It's by far the most reliable way to arrive on Saturday or Sunday. Slots are booked several weeks in advance.
Staying Outside the City
Many of our clients stay in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Èze or Cap-d'Ail, ten minutes outside the circuit, with a chauffeur who drops them at the access point closest to their grandstand. This avoids being stuck in the Principality all day.
The Yacht Show, Another Key Date
In late September, the Monaco Yacht Show requires comparable organisation: a very busy Port Hercule, fully booked hotels, and back-to-back appointments on board. The same rules apply.
Our concierges' advice. Book four months ahead. It's the advice we give systematically, and our clients who follow it always enjoy the event with total peace of mind.
