The Journey in Detail
From Geneva
to Gstaad.
The journey to Gstaad stays entirely within Switzerland: motorway along Lake Geneva to Vevey, then a mountain road through the Pays-d'Enhaut, via Château-d'Œx or the Col des Mosses depending on conditions. It is one of the most scenic routes we cover.
The Stages
Geneva to Vevey by motorway in about an hour, then about 1h15 to Gstaad, via Bulle and Château-d'Œx or via Aigle and the Col des Mosses.
In Winter
The mountain road calls for an equipped vehicle and adapted driving. We choose the clearest route on the day of travel.
On Arrival
Drop-off at your chalet or hotel in Gstaad, Saanen, Schönried or Rougemont. Some chalets are reached by narrow lanes: please give us the exact address.
Highlights
The Christmas and February holidays, New Year and, in summer, the region's major tournaments and festivals. Book early for these periods.
