The great feminine classic of flat racing
The Prix de Diane Longines is to fillies' racing what the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is to open racing: the absolute reference. Run every June at the Chantilly racecourse, the race brings together the continent's best three-year-old fillies over 2,100 metres.
A fashion competition in its own right
Beyond the race, the Prix de Diane is known for its hat competition, which attracts a particularly well-dressed crowd every year. The day becomes an open-air fashion event, where people come as much to be seen as to follow the racing.
An exceptional natural setting
The Chantilly racecourse, bordering the forest and a few hundred metres from the château, offers one of the most elegant settings on the entire French racing calendar. The surrounding estate lends itself particularly well to a refined lunch or picnic before or after the race.
Combining with other Chantilly events
Chantilly's calendar is especially busy in June, between the Prix de Diane and the Chantilly Arts & Elegance concours, which is usually held a few weeks later. Many of our clients choose to split their discovery of the estate across these two dates.
Our concierges' advice. Plan your outfit carefully: the hat competition is taken very seriously in Chantilly, and the most sought-after stands are also the most watched.
Planning your stay
We organise your day in Chantilly: a transfer from Paris, stand access, and an optional château visit to extend your day.
