The Journey in Detail
From Chambéry
to the Trois Vallées.
Chambéry-Savoie Mont Blanc airport, on the shores of Lac du Bourget, is the closest to Courchevel for business jets and seasonal winter flights. The route follows the expressway to Albertville, climbs the Tarentaise valley to Moûtiers, then winds up to Courchevel on a mountain road.
In winter, it is one of the journeys we arrange most often, especially on Saturdays, changeover day in the chalets. Our chauffeurs know the bottlenecks and the times to avoid.
The Stages
Chambéry-Savoie to Albertville in about 40 minutes, then Moûtiers in 25 minutes, then Courchevel in 35 minutes depending on the resort level: Le Praz, Village, Moriond or Courchevel 1850. Allow 1h45 to 2h without disruption.
Winter Saturdays
From late December to early April, Saturdays concentrate arrivals and departures for the whole Tarentaise valley: the journey can then exceed three hours. We adjust the departure time, track traffic in real time and let you know of any change.
Equipped for the Mountains
Our transfer vehicles are equipped in line with the French Mountain Law, in force from 1 November to 31 March in Savoie. We favour all-wheel drive for the final climb and plan space for skis and bulky luggage.
Other Departure Points
For a commercial flight, Geneva and Lyon Saint-Exupéry remain the main reference airports. We also handle the Geneva-Courchevel, Lyon-Courchevel and Chambéry-Méribel transfers.
