The Journey in Detail
From Geneva
to Courchevel.
This is the most requested winter link to the Trois Vallées: Geneva handles most of the international flights and private jets bound for the French Alps. The route crosses the border, follows the motorway to Albertville, then climbs the Tarentaise valley.
The Stages
Geneva to Albertville by motorway in about 1h15, then Moûtiers in 25 minutes, then the climb to Courchevel in 35 minutes depending on the resort level.
The Border
The border is usually crossed without stopping, but each passenger needs a valid identity document. At the airport, we meet you on the Swiss or French side depending on your flight.
Winter Saturdays
On changeover days, the journey can exceed 3h30. We suggest a suitable time and, if time is short, a helicopter alternative to Courchevel altiport.
Other Departures
Depending on your flight, the transfer from Chambéry or Lyon-Saint-Exupéry may be shorter or smoother.
