A princely tradition
Created by Princess Grace of Monaco in 1954, the Rose Ball is held every year in the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, in support of the Princess Grace Foundation. Presided over by Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline of Hanover, the event brings together international high society for the year's first great social evening.
A fresh artistic direction each year
Each edition is built around a different theme, entrusted to a figure from fashion or design. Christian Louboutin has directed the artistic vision of several recent editions, turning the Salle des Étoiles into an immersive setting for one evening.
A carefully controlled guest list
Access to the Rose Ball is by invitation only, or by purchasing a place through the organisers, at a price that reflects the event's charitable and exclusive nature. The evening enforces a strict dress code: black tie and evening gown.
Extending your stay in the Principality
The Ball is usually held on a Saturday, allowing for a full weekend in Monaco: arrival on Friday, the evening on Saturday, then a relaxed Sunday before departure.
Our concierges' advice. The dress code is strictly enforced. We can coordinate a fitting or alterations beforehand, in addition to transport for the evening.
Planning your stay
We organise your evening: a chauffeur for your arrival at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, and a full weekend in the Principality if you wish.
