An Event on a Grand Scale
The Fête des Lumières runs over four evenings in early December, around the 8th. Installations cover the Presqu'île, the Fourvière hill, Vieux Lyon and the city's parks. Attendance is counted in the millions, which completely transforms traffic in the centre.
Getting Around During the Event
Large areas become pedestrian-only in the evening to allow full enjoyment of the illuminations. A chauffeur who knows the authorised drop-off points and bypass routes saves considerable time, especially with children or elderly guests.
Extending the Evening
Lyon remains above all a city of gastronomy. Tables are booked well in advance during this period. We take care of the reservations and the sequencing of your journeys.
An Ideal Base for the Alps
Lyon is two hours forty-five minutes from Courchevel and an hour and fifteen minutes from Aix-les-Bains. Many of our clients pass through Lyon before heading to the resorts for the holidays.
